The Covid-19 pandemic expedited the digital transformation. We continue to implement and refine our AI technology, develop smart manufacturing and e-commerce services to raise our operational performance. Our chairman, to promote AI within our company, attended AI Academy in Taiwan and also arranged management officers to enroll in the 16-week courses to have a comprehensive understanding of how to use AI to increase the company value.
To attract top candidates, motivate employees, boost employee morale and reduce employee turnover rate, in 2020, we raised salary base, and business performance bonus across the board. Through salary adjustment, we hope to achieve employee retention and build a solid foundation for future development. The percentage increase of salary in 2020 is 2.72%.
