We have inspection and analysis protocols for all the incoming raw material, semi-finished products, and final products, which conduct regularly to ensure quality control, and some analyses are contracted and completed by the third-party laboratory. In 2019, 12,980 batches ran through the raw material analysis with 31 of them failed to comply with the standard that’s a 99.76% passing rate. Of the batches tested abnormal (which failed to meet the standard), in accordance to the company guidelines, the inspectors from our Food R&D Dept then issued the Raw Material Abnormal Notice. The sourcing department would contact the supplier to proceed with the cause analysis to either offer corrective actions or accept the return of raw material. The actions taken by the suppliers and the quality of the raw material will all be part of the supplier evaluation.
In 2019, 39,764 batches of the semi-finished product and final product completed the analysis, with 32 of them failed to comply with the standard that’s a 99.92% passing rate. Of the batches tested abnormal (which failed to meet the standard), in accordance to the company guidelines, the inspectors from our Food R&D Dept then issued the Abnormal Notice to the production lines for improvement.
